The Field Museum of Chicago!
This has been one of my favorite places to ever visit. I hate the fact that it’s been forever since the last time I went though. Grrr…
I remember reading in “The Time Traveler’s Wife” the parts where Henry, as a child, had been fascinated by the museum when he first visited. He loved it so much that he was in tears when he had to leave. Now I wouldn’t cry over leaving, because I know I can come again another time, but I can share his affection for such a wonderful place that shares so much knowledge and culture.

The dolphin show at the Baltimore National Aquarium.
I love going to aquariums and museums. There’s just something about seeing things that you usually never get a chance to experience: creatures from the depths of the ocean, the creative innovation of a painting, the artifacts from an ancient civilization.
On this day, I was visiting the Baltimore Aquarium with some of my best friends. I usually enjoy going to a museum by myself on a slow day so I can quietly appreciate the exhibits when they’re not crowded. But I love spending company with someone who is just as fascinated as I am.
Also, I later found out that someone from my school was actually one of the trainers in the dolphin show. Small world. :)
