3 of the 4 creators of web comic Cyanide and Happiness at their booth in the web comics area of C2E2.
I definitely see the rising popularity of web comics. I read them almost everyday. I was so psyched to see so many of my favorites in attendance. These guys do the very hilarious Cyanide and Happiness. And as you can see, they were dressed to the nines. Also present were the guys who do Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. Both the C+H and SMBC guys did a panel which I attended. It was very insightful to see into the minds of these comedians.
I was also very surprised and excited to see KC Green, who does Gunshow; Chris Hastings, creator of the totally awesome Dr. McNinja; Anthony Clark, who brings to us the hilarious Beartato (pronounced Bear+TAY+to as in potato) and Reginald of Nedroid; Scott Kurtz, whom I’ve met at previous conventions but is still churning out great strips at PvP; and Kris Straub, the diabolical mind behind chainsaw suit.
Unfortunately, I took pics of only the C+H crew… Everyone was awesome and willing to do sketches for me in my book and I highly recommend you check their stuff out. :)
