This was actually the after my buddy, Travis’, 21st birthday. Ah, college. I miss you. I miss our campus apartment. I miss the beer pong table that Dunbar made. I miss the campus. I miss the parties. I kinda miss the classes (not really). Most of all, I really miss the people. The friends I made during my years there are, to me, my best friends. Like, BEST friends. I consider them my closest friends to the end of time. I hope they know that no matter how far apart we are, I’d be at their side at a moment’s notice if they needed me.

So for those of you in college right now, make the best of it. It’ll be over before you know it…

We had some kegs at work to celebrate our latest release for the website, which cut search and rendering time immensely. I was pretty surprised the first time I discovered that they had kegs of beer to celebrate big milestones for the company.

I like beer. I like free beer! It’s a pretty nice way to congratulate and thank the employees. It helps them unwind and socialize. And kegs are just cool! hahaha

I usually upload pics I take from my phone onto my twitpic account, but I thought I’d change it up and post some more personal stuff on here. Also, this way, I’m not limited by the 180-character limit and talk a little bit more about the photos!

So this one is of the display case in my building, which was previously a brewery. I don’t know the whole history, but looking at those cans, the brewery must have been around way back. I like my apartment. It’s a bit unique in that it has some exposed brick walls and somewhat high ceilings. I especially love the two rooftop decks that we have though.

I’m not a beer connoisseur by any means, but someone introduced me to Bell’s Oberon and it is so fucking awesomely yummy. My new favorite beer right now. :D
