Just a guy from Annapolis, MD living the life in Chicago.
Interests: computers, programming, web development, banking and finance, museums, travel, lightsabers, horcruxes, partying, friends, drinking, twittering, roughed up beds in the morning, zombies, comics, direwolves and dragons, anything by Google, and eating sandwiches.
robots have emotions. ninjas are awesome. pirates get drunk. the zombie threat is real.
The spoils and booty from my trip to Wizard World Chicago 2010.
I didn’t get any sketches unfortunately. But I got a pretty good deal on the graphic novels I picked up: “Girls” vol. 3 for $8 and vol. 4 and 5 of “Scott Pilgrim” for $10 each. I still need vol. 2 and 3 to complete the series. I also got the Batman action figure, because hell… Batman is awesome. The two dvds I picked up are foreign films: “La Horde” and “Old Boy.” I heard about “Old Boy” before; it sounds like a really cool revenge flick. “La Horde” was recommended to me by the guy at the booth as a really awesome zombie film. We shall see. :) Then I got two bottles of this energy drink… I don’t really drink that stuff, but they were just giving them all away, so I thought, “Hey, free.”
I was hoping to pick up the rest of the Scott Pilgrim series, as well as another copy of “The Walking Dead” compendium and some more “Y: The Last Man” omnibuses, but I couldn’t find any. Probably because I came so late. I’ll be going to the Baltimore Comic-con this weekend actually… so hopefully I can find some deals there. :)
