Just a guy from Annapolis, MD living the life in Chicago.
Interests: computers, programming, web development, banking and finance, museums, travel, lightsabers, horcruxes, partying, friends, drinking, twittering, roughed up beds in the morning, zombies, comics, direwolves and dragons, anything by Google, and eating sandwiches.
robots have emotions. ninjas are awesome. pirates get drunk. the zombie threat is real.
Naked bike riders cycling around the BP gas station at Clark and La Salle.
I got a text from the cousin telling me about the World Naked Bike Ride that’ll be happening here in Chicago. Needless to say, I went, eager to see the nudity and hijinx. I hopped on a bus and made it a few minutes early, and already there was a crowd starting to form. Many of them had their cameras, of course. The cousin and a friend met me there and we eagerly awaited the nude cyclists to appear. Soon, the police escort rolls around, halting traffic for the block around the gas station. This was their way of protesting BP, I guess, and they were definitely getting a lot of attention.
